I thought Id post a lil food porn for those on my fruitcake list this year hehehe. I went to Costco yesterday to get more Grand Marnier cuz I knew I didn't have enough. As it is I emptied my Brandy bottle on these. I put 1/4c. brandy on each fruitcake until I'm ready to mail them. Then the week I do that I put 1/4c. Grand Marnier on them to finish it. See how juicy it is? That's the liqueur trying to soak in. Oh you lucky people!
Hmmmmm maybe this one needs more (I decided this particular one was mine since some of the fruit it quite noticeable on it).
Here's all 6 wrapped up again to soak. I told the man I need to get some boxes so we can ship these out this week. Not sure if you will get it in time for Christmas but Ill toss some Chocolate bark in to appease ya!
